Research by the Commission on Jewish Assets in Sweden and the Swedish Bankers' Association has produced a list of unclaimed accounts at Swedish banks believed to be owed Holocaust victims. The list consists of accounts dormant since 1945 owned by depositors with last known addresses outside of Sweden. Also included are foreign exchange seizures deposited to Sveriges Riksbank during World War II and immediately thereafter. Claims information is available from the Simon Wiesenthal Center, 9750 West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90035; http://www.wiesenthal.com; the Swedish Bankers' Association: http://www.bankforeningen.se; and Sveriges Riksbank: http://www.riksbank.se |
